Warren Teasdale retired in 1990 as Chief, Research Drilling, Sampling, and Testing-Techniques Project from the U.S. Department of the Interior, Geological Survey after 37 years of service. After retirement, he became a member of Golden “K” Foothills Kiwanis Club in Lakewood and began doing volunteer work on various local projects. He then became involved with West Metro’s Community Outreach Division (COD) in 1990. As a volunteer with COD I was asked to join the speaker’s bureau & also, received training on many other Outreach’s activities including becoming a certified children’s car seat technician. Warren is active in his Lutheran Church as a Congregational Coordinator for Thrivent, and a choir member. He served in the U.S. Naval Reserve (inactive) for 12 years; graduated from Hofstra University in 1958 with a degree in Geology. Warren was a volunteer firefighter during the 1950's. He was a member of Alpha H & L Company #1, Roosevelt, NY. Warren is married with two children and has three granddaughters.
