If you would like to be updated on all the current changes and notifications for the Testing process, we highly encourage you to sign up.
Our testing process is scheduled and communicated via email. It is vital that you have a current email address on file to be sure you are informed of all steps of this process.

| 1. WRITTEN EXAM |
 |
To take the Written Exam, you will need to pay the Application fee.
The Written Exam is only one day (Saturday). We are unable to conduct this exam remotely, at this time.

| 2. PHYSICAL ABILITY TEST (PAT) |

We allow all applicants to participate in our Observation/Practice PAT's, prior to the test.
Out of State Applicants - you will follow this same procedure, except your Dedicated PAT date will be assigned for the same day as the Written Exam.
In addition, you are allowed to sign up for your PAT on our other open PAT dates.
PAT RE-TEST:
The PAT Re-Test is a NON-REFUNDABLE $35.
Applicants shall be allowed to Re-Test ONLY ONCE! if there are sufficient vacancies for the PAT.
The opportunity to re-take the test is available to applicants regardless of whether they passed or failed their first attempt of the test. The applicants highest score shall be applied towards the final cumulative score. |
| 3. ORAL BOARDS |
 |
The Oral Boards are a structured oral interview.
Members of the Oral Board panel are trained by a commercial testing company.
Score
Applicants will be advised of their score by email (approximately 2 weeks) after the completion of the Oral Boards.
The applicants total score will consist of the applicants tally of all three (3) scores (Written, PAT, & Oral Boards), which will give them their final ranking |
