The West Metro Fire Rescue Honor Guard carries and presents the United States and Colorado Flags at various events, including promotions, retirements, and parades.

On the unfortunate occasion of a death of a firefighter, the Honor Guard and participates in memorial ceremonies.

West Metro is one of four fire departments in Colorado with its own Color Guard. The other fire departments include: Colorado Springs, Poudre Valley, Aurora, and Denver.
