Summer Time Fun
Summer time is so much fun! Make it a safe time too. Wear helmets when riding bikes or other “wheels”. Watch kids every second they are around water. Use life jackets around open water. Drowning is fast and silent. There is no screaming and splashing. Kids need to be watched by a responsible adult whenever they are around water.

Prevent Burns
Prevent burns by using sunscreen and staying away from hot things that can hurt you – especially fireworks! See a professional display. Fireworks are dangerous – stay away from them.

Traffic Safety
Make sure kids have a safe place to play – away from cars and traffic. Teach them how to stay safe around traffic – use crosswalks, only cross in front of vehicles and make sure drivers see you. Ride your bike safely – wear a helmet and obey traffic laws. Buckle up – every ride, every time.
