Honor Guard

The West Metro Honor Guard carries and presents the United States and Colorado Flags at various events, including promotions, retirements, and parades. 

On the unfortunate occasion of a death of a firefighter, the Color Guard becomes the Honor Guard and participates in memorial ceremonies. 

West Metro is one of four fire departments in Colorado with its own Color Guard. The other fire departments include: Colorado Springs, Poudre Valley, Aurora, and Denver.
