Evacuation Drills
West Metro Fire Rescue encourages all schools, businesses and childcare facilities to conduct evacuation drills each year. West Metro Fire Rescue will send the crew from the neighborhood fire station to witness and evaluate a fire drill once a year at all schools and businesses within the fire district. A written evacuation plan must first be submitted before the evacuation drill witness is scheduled. The Deputy Fire Marshall reviews all written evacuation plans before the evacuation drill. A minimum of two weeks advance notice is required to schedule the fire evacuation drill.
