Request a Ride Along

If you've always wanted to see what it's like to be a firefighter, you may request to visit a fire station and ride along with a crew.

Application and Requirements

Applicants must be at least 18 years old and a resident of the West Metro Fire Protection District.

West Metro requires a Colorado Bureau of Investigation (CBI) criminal background check, as well as the completion of an application and all related forms before approving a ride-along with our crews.

Please submit a complete original copy of your application and a check for $10 made to "West Metro Fire Rescue" at least 2 weeks prior to desired ride-along date.
