PUBLIC NOTICE OF A REGULAR MEETING OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE WEST METRO FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that a regular meeting of the board of directors of the West Metro Fire Protection District shall be held at 6:00 p.m., on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at the administrative headquarters of the District at 433 S. Allison Parkway, Lakewood, Colorado. Items to be discussed during this meeting include, but are not limited to a review of the minutes, staff reports, and other matters that may come before the board. Members of the public may attend the meeting in person or remotely. Access to attend the meeting remotely is made possible through the link or by dialing in using the phone numbers below. Comments by members of the public shall be made during the Public Comment portion of the meeting. Comments shall be limited to three minutes per individual. Individuals who desire to participate in public comment shall do so in person and shall sign up in writing at the meeting. Sign-up to speak during the public comment agenda item shall open one-half (1/2) hour prior to the start of the meeting and shall close at the start of the meeting. Preference shall be given to District residents and taxpayers. Determination of the speaking order shall be in the order signed up by District residents, then District taxpayers, and then persons residing outside of the District. For any citizen who desires to participate in public comments but has circumstances that do not allow for in-person public participation, such person may submit in writing to the executive assistant to the Board at jwheaton@westmetrofire.org any comments or questions on the day of the Board meeting prior to the meeting start time. Such written statements must be received within one-half (1/2) hour of the start of the meeting and one (1) hour following the adjournment of the meeting. Any such written statements will be included with the minutes from the Board meeting. This submission process shall also be followed for any fully virtual meeting that has public participation as an agenda item.
