Behind every emergency response is a significant investment in readiness-  firefighters, equipment, apparatus, technology, and training.

The cost of maintaining that readiness continues to climb. Since 2019, the price of a new fire engine has nearly doubled, now costing more than $1.3 million. At the same time, the costs of the tools and equipment crews depend on every day continue to rise.

Preparing for the next emergency means ensuring crews have the resources they need before the call comes in.
