It is one of West Metro Fire Rescue's top priorities to ensure our children know the skills needed to keep themselves, their friends, and anyone they care about safe.

By inviting WMFR firefighters into your schools, you give us the opportunity to introduce ourselves to the students as community helpers and friends. We focus on making sure children are familiar with what firefighters wear and what to do if they ever see a firefighter in an emergency. We share important safety information with our students that help them build skills and awareness around fire safety and injury prevention as well as share what fire fighters do for our communities.
