Fireworks Drop Off Sites
🎆 Have fireworks you shouldn’t have? We’ll take them.
If you have illegal fireworks you don’t plan to use (great choice, by the way), you can safely surrender them at one of our fireworks drop-off sites.
Look for the designated metal containers with lids at:
📍 Station 17
South side, near the main entrance: 10901 West 38th Avenue, Wheat Ridge
📍 Station 10
South side bay doors, near the SaM door: 3535 South Kipling St. Lakewood
📍 West Metro Administration Building
West side, outside the double doors: 433 South Allison Parkway, Lakewood
A reminder: In Colorado, fireworks that leave the ground or explode are illegal. Local rules can be even stricter- different cities and counties have different regulations, and some don’t allow fireworks at all (like Lakewood).
Check what’s allowed where you live before you light anything. Even if you bought it just down the street.
Thanks for helping us keep sparks out of neighborhoods and fireworks out of places they don’t belong.
