Congratulations to the Mesa View Estates neighborhood for becoming the newest member of the Firewise® USA program! The national designation highlights the resident's proactive work to reduce wildfire risk and improve community resilience.

Mesa View Estates is bordered by Green Mountain to the south, and is deep within the wildland/urban interface that makes up much of West Metro's district- where homes are close to parks and open space and there is an increased risk of wildfire.

West Metro worked closely with the neighborhood to help residents through the process and will continue to lend support as their program grows.
