Since 2017, West Metro’s community has continued to grow and change. While our district’s population has increased by 5%, calls for service have climbed by 21%. In 2025, our crews answered more than 42,000 calls for assistance.

More residents are choosing to age in place, increasing the demand for emergency medical care and other services. Today’s firefighters respond to far more than fires- requiring ongoing investments in training, equipment, technology, and resources to meet the evolving needs of our community.
